Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been offered the position of assistant systems engineer and it was supposed for me to start working on March 1st, but I have the regret to inform you that I will not be able to assist by that date.
Unfortunately, there has been a car accident in which my father was involved, and in this moment he is in intensive therapy. He will be allowed to leave the hospital by March 6th, although he needs to be taken care of strictly for at least two months. Besides, my sister will be in the university and she cannot return until the third week of March, and as a result, it is me who must look after my father.
I am really sorry for the circumstances, but it is for sure that it will not happen twice. Firstly, my father is not going to drive for at least a year. Secondly, once my sister is back, she will be responsible on watching my father for the remaining time he needs.
Due to this inconvenience, I propose the following solution. I shall start working on April 1st and I will not be absent nor late for the whole month. In that case, I would make up for the month I could not work for.

El pH y sus variantes en distintos tipos de agua
Agua destilada: A pesar de que puede ser bebida, no es recomendable, ya que carece de minerales y sales benefactoras. En su lugar, se utiliza para medicamentos generalmente. Un agua precisamente destilada tiene un pH muy cercano a 7, es decir, un pH neutro, y de su hidrólisis se obtiene H3O y OH.
Agua gasificada: El agua gasificada, o vulgarmente llamada "gaseosa", se forma agregando un ácido carbónico al agua, lo que causa una reacción inestable, y así, genera una descomposición, liberando agua y dióxido de carbono (CO2), y éste es el causante de las burbujas que se ven en las gaseosas. El pH promedio oscila entre 2 y 3.
Agua de la napa: Ésta es denominada también agua subterránea, y es el resultado de las precipitaciones que se drenan en los suelos y con el paso del tiempo, llegan a arroyos, ríos e incluso al mar. Puede variar su pH dependiendo de los iones y minerales que haya en el agua, pero se estipula que es de aproximadamente 8. Generalmente reacciona con iones como HCO, NO, SO, y Cl (cationes) y Mg, Ca, NH, K, y Na (aniones)
Agua mineral: Ésta es aquella que es directamente consumida para nuestro beneficio, ya que posee minerales como Fe, Mg, Na, Ca, etc.. Su mineralización varía con la cantidad de miligramos de minerales por litro, y aquellas aguas que posean hasta 500 mg por litro (denominadas aguas de mineralización débil) son las más benefactoras para su consumo. El pH tiene un promedio aproximado de 7,5.
Agua de mar: Esta formada casi en su totalidad por sales, ya que consiste en un 80% de éstas, con iones como Cl-, Na+, SO4, MgO2+, etc.. Su pH es muy variado, ya que para determinarlo, es necesaria tanto la salinidad de dichas aguas como también la presión y la profundidad que poseen. Tiende a ser más básico, ya que su pH está entre 7,5 y 8,5

Encarcelados por los barrotes del consumismo
Se nos invitó a reflexionar acerca de la imagen de arriba, para ver cuál era nuestra interpretación de la misma. En mi opinión, la imagen simboliza al hombre encarcelado por el mundo del consumismo y la manera en la que no puede ser librado de éste. Esto se debe ya que día a día el mundo pasa a ser cada vez más globalizado y prácticamente todo tiene un precio que, al ser consumistas, siempre estamos dispuestos a pagar. Esto no es culpa del consumidor, no del todo, mayormente esto es culpa de las compañías que nos instalan la idea del consumismo en nuestros cerebros. Esto lo logran a través de propagandas que indican que los productos que ellos ofrecen son absolutamente necesarios y que nos harían completamente felices. Y otra gran manera de promover el consumismo es la llamada "obsolescencia programada", por la cual, como fue mencionada en anteriores publicaciones y será explicada en detalle más adelante, es la programación de los electrodomésticos para que, después de determinado tiempo, dejen de funcionar para que así la gente compre nuevos productos. Tristemente, ésta es la sociedad en la que vivimos y a menos que empecemos a cambiar ahora, va a ser muy difícil que esta situación se revierta.

Mon vacances en France
Mon voyage à France a été magnifique. J'ai visité la Tour Eiffel et L’Arc de Triomphe, et ils sont très jolis. Je suis fasciné pour la taille du Notre Dame, il est géant. Aussi, j'ai voyagé en bateau pour la Seine et je …. visité le Musée du Louvre. Les temps étaient parfaits et il ne pleuvait rien. Ils étaient les meilleures vacances que j’avais, la ville c’est vraiment belle et impressionnant.

Should capital punishment be legal?
Capital punishment is a very big deal in many countries in the world. Some countries are strictly against it, while others have it legalised. What is true is that in every country, there is a great discussion on wheather it should be legalised or not, as there are many pros and cons around this subject, and through this essay, these reasons are going to be described, both against and in favour of capital punishment.
To begin with, capital punishment is a way of getting a sort of retribution, as the criminal receives what he or she did (in case of it being a murder). Secondly, it's for sure that the threat of future crimes commited by the same outlaw is discarded. And lastly, the fact that people are aware that, by commiting that crime, they will be punished with death, will work as a deterrent effect, in other words, it would be like a warning and prevent anyone from breaking the law.
On the other hand, it can be said that capital punishment can be quite immoral, as there are many other ways in which a criminal can pay for what they did and therefore, learn the consequences. In addition, the crime would be punished with the same action, which doesn't make sense at all. And lastly, it is a very agressive way of explaining to people not to commit a crime.
As a conclusion, I think that, although it is a tough way of showing the consequences, capital punishment is a good solution for reducing crime, but only if it is completely certain that the criminal is guilty, because is the condemned is wrongfully convicted, there's no coming back. An example for this can be seen in the movie "The life of David Gale". I'm in favour because, even though it may happen once or more than once, someone that commits a crime is still a dangerous person, what means that it is a threat for the society, and as a solution, eliminating the threat would make the society safer and less afraid, as well as a society better acquaintanced with the way in which the commiting of crimes must be paid.

La responsabilidad mató al humano
En las clases de Ambiente, Sociedad y Desarrollo estamos prestando crucial atención al cuidado del planeta y sus recursos, y salió el tema del "consumismo responsable", ya que se explotan demasiado los recursos de la Tierra sin que nosotros lo sepamos.
